Michelle Trachtenberg fired back at fans who were worried about her health one year before her tragic death.
In January 2024, the “Gossip Girl” star posted a selfie with “Spy Kids” star Alexa PenaVega after a fun day at the hair salon.
However, her comments section was flooded with fans voicing their concern for the actress, claiming she looked thin and “sick.”
“Explain to me how I look sick,” the “Ice Princess” actress responded to one commenter. “Did you lose a calendar and not realize I’m not 14. I’m 38. How sad for you to leave such a comment.”
The following day, Trachtenberg posted another selfie to silence the “haters” as they continued to criticize her looks.
“I’ve received several comments recently about my appearance. I have never had plastic surgery I am happy and healthy,” she wrote. “Check yourself haters.”
At the time, several fans applauded the actress for taking a stand against people voicing their opinions about her body.
However, on Wednesday, police confirmed to The Post that Trachtenberg had died. She was 39.
While her cause of death is unknown, it is not being investigated as suspicious.
According to ABC News, Trachtenberg’s mother found her deceased in her apartment near Columbus Circle just after 8 a.m
