How Kimberly Guilfoyle Celebrated Ex-Fiance Donald Trump Jr.’s 47th Birthday After Split

Kimberly Guilfoyle Honored Ex Donald Trump Jr on His Birthday:

Kimberly Guilfoyle and ex-fiancé Donald Trump Jr. seem to have no bad blood.

Trump Jr. turned 47 on Tuesday, December 31. Guilfoyle, 55, celebrated his birthday with a series photos shared via Instagram, which seemed to hint that their recent breakup was amicable.

While Guilfoyle took to Instagram on his special day, the eldest son of president-elect Donald Trump was celebrating with new girlfriend Bettina Anderson.

Us Weekly confirmed in December 2024 that Trump Jr. and Guilfoyle had called off their engagement months prior. News of their split came after Trump Jr. was spotted holding hands with Anderson in Palm Beach that same month.

“Don and Kimberly broke up before the election and started to divide assets around the end of September,” a source told Us at the time, explaining that the former couple “never discussed” their breakup publicly because they did not want to “detract from” other “important issues.”

Trump Jr. started dating Guilfoyle following his 2018 divorce from ex-wife Vanessa Trump, with whom he shares kids Kai, 17, Donald, 15, Tristan, 13, Spencer, 12, and Chloe, 10. (Guilfoyle, for her part, was married to Governor Gavin Newsom from 2001 to 2006. She moved on with Eric Villency, whom she was married to from 2006 to 2009. They share 18-year-old son Ronan.)

He proposed in 2020, but their engagement was kept under wraps until 2022 when Guilfoyle accompanied Trump Jr. to his sister Tiffany Trump’s wedding. The breakup from Guilfoyle was Trump Jr.’s idea, the same source told Us last month.

“They just had different goals,” the insider added, referring to their split and current relationship as “amicable.” (President Trump chose Guilfoyle to represent the United States in Greece when his second term starts later this month.)

“Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and will always keep a special bond,” the statement read. “I could not be more proud of her and the important role she’ll continue to play [as U.S. ambassador to Greece.]”
