Summer House star Paige DeSorbo announced her split from Southern Charm’s Craig Conover before the new year. For fans, it was a devastating breakup as they had hoped Craig and Paige were going to take their three-year relationship to the next level, as Season 10, Episode 4 of Southern Charm even showcased the pillow-maker freezing his sperm to one day start a family.
When Paige announced their split on her Giggly Squad podcast, she alluded to the fact that they had differing views on their futures. In addition, it seemed that Paige would never settle down in Charleston as she had a booming career in New York City.
It’s also interesting to note that Craig’s reality TV co-stars have yet to remark on his split from Paige; all except for Madison LeCroy, who seemed to be supporting him through what he called an “unexpected” breakup.
Madison LeCroy Showed Support For Cast Mate Craig Conover After His Split From Paige DeSorbo

Madison LeCroy is supporting Craig Conover as best as she can following his shocking split from Paige DeSorbo. Although she and Craig haven’t had the smoothest relationship throughout their time on Southern Charm, they seem to have built a solid friendship.
Taking part in an Amazon Live on January 9, Madison answered a few fan questions, and it wasn’t shocking that people wanted to get an update on Craig amid his break-up. Madison seemed to suggest that Craig was looking forward to getting married and starting a family in the near future.
“I don’t need to give him any advice. I just told him, ‘You’re going to be a great husband, you’re going to be a great dad one day. You have so much to look forward to, like, just be lucky you didn’t already have those things and then go through a breakup,” she shared.
While fans are saddened to hear about the breakup, Madison wanted her fans to know that Craig and Paige were doing okay.
“I’m here to hype him up when he’s down—and I’ll do that for anyone really,” Madison said. “But, they’re still good, and I think everything’s going to be fine. I think you guys are taking it a lot harder than they are.”
Craig Froze His Sperm Before His Split From Paige
In Season 10, Episode 4, fans learned that Craig was eagerly thinking about starting a family with Paige. While hanging out with Austen Kroll and Shep Rose, Craig revealed that he had frozen his sperm. It appeared to fans that both Craig and Paige were on the same page regarding their future.
“I would be remiss to not say that becoming a dad is like, probably like, a, whatever it’s called when it has to happen in my future.”
However, in a confessional, Craig admitted that he put his dreams of being a father on hold in part because of his then-girlfriend, Paige.
“The version of life that I saw myself living isn’t what I’m living, which is like this stable home that I grew up in. Every night at dinner, my mom and dad were there and my brother. And I just loved that,” he said. “But I think if you find the right person, and they happen to be a feisty Italian from New York, things aren’t always going to go how you have them planned.”
Craig assured both Austen and Shep that he was career-focused in the meantime, but Austen remembered things a little differently. Speaking to the cameras, Austen expressed that as long as he knew Craig, he always wanted to be a father. “I’m not entirely sold that Craig wants exactly what Paige wants,” he states.
Craig Called The Break-Up “Unexpected”

When Paige revealed to her Giggly Squad podcast followers that she and Craig decided to end things, she hinted that they were at different stages in their lives.
“I love him. I think he loves me. I think we will remain friends. No one did anything. It wasn’t a bad thing.
I think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didn’t want, and I think that’s extremely powerful to be able to voice how you’re feeling in real time and what you want for your future.”
However, when Craig broke his silence a week later in an Instagram Story, he admitted to being in “shock” over the split. He told his followers that the split had occurred “right before the holidays.”
