Fans are only just realising Coronation Street newcomer Jonathan Howard has a very famous wife.
The actor, 38, who plays Carl Webster in the soap, recently made his soap debut on the cobbles.
His character has caused chaos since arriving in Weatherfield to surprise his brother Kevin (Michael Le Vell).
Carl’s incessant flirting with Kevin’s wife Abi Webster (Sally Carman) has raised eyebrows.
Unlike his flirty character, Jonathan is happily married to his TV and film star wife Elodie Yung, 44, and share a six-year-old daughter.
The French actress is best known for her roles as Elektra Natchios in the second season of Daredevil and the miniseries The Defenders, as well as Thony De La Rosa on the Fox series The Cleaning Lady.

She got her big break in French TV drama La Vie Devant Nous, before going back to studying at law school.
And a couple years later, Elodie relocated to England to pursue her acting career in London.
Elodie landed a starring role in he hit movie The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
Jonathan and Elodie, who moved from LA to another state for her work, recently commented on the couple’s love life.
According to the Metro, he said: ‘My wife has been working on a TV show for the last few years in another state in America and we’ve been based there for the last couple of years. We enjoy our life there.
‘My wife is French Cambodian and we never thought we’d be living in the States, but we like it out there. That’s our life right now.’
But while he takes on the role of Carl, Jonathan has moved back to the UK away from Elodie and their daughter.
He said: ‘I left the north of England 20 years ago, when I was 20. I went to do Dream Team in London then I went to drama school for three years.

‘I left drama school and managed to work in America and moved to America and I’ve been in the States for the last 10 years with my wife and I have a daughter over there.
‘The only hard thing is being away from them, but at the same time it’s a real gift to be back in the north of England.’
Over the last 10 years, Jonathan has worked with the likes of Brad Pitt, Chris Hemsworth and Anthony Hopkins but noted that landing the part in Corrie is his greatest achievement.
He told The Mirror: ‘Being in Coronation Street is just as big a thrill as being in a Hollywood film or an American TV series. It’s all the same, everyone’s telling stories, whether it’s a big $200m movie or a soap like Corrie.
‘As a Lancashire lad born and raised, the dream was to be in Coronation Street – that was the ceiling, so it feels wonderfully surreal to now be acting with people like Kevin Webster that I watched religiously as a kid.
‘I’m staying with my mum and I sleep in my childhood bedroom. It’s been really nice to come home – going back to my roots.’
Over the years, Jonathan has played Charles Dance’s son in the 2019 film Godzilla: King of the Monsters, and worked with Brad, who produced and starred in the 2013 action horror film World War Z.
He has also appeared in several Hollywood blockbusters, including the Marvel superhero film Thor: The Dark World, where he played astrophysicist Ian Boothby, alongside Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman and Idris Elba.

He continued: ‘Thor was crazy. I was less than a year out of drama school. The best part was two days with Anthony Hopkins, which was fantastic. We swapped emails and we emailed each other now and then.
‘I’d had the biggest crush on Natalie Portman and then suddenly I was sitting chatting to her and I’d go out for dinner with Stellan Skarsgard.’
Jonathan, who grew up near Southport, made his TV debut aged 14 in the children’s series Looking After the Penneys and at 18 landed the role of footballer Gavin Moody in Dream Team.
He has appeared in Downton Abbey, Episodes and Mr Selfridge, but has mainly worked in America, after moving there ten years ago with his wife, French actress Elodie Yung.
