Katy Perry put on a stunning display in a sparkly silver gown at the Breakthrough Awards in Santa Monica on Sunday.
The Hot N Cold singer, 40, wowed in the futuristic dress, which covered her hair and revealed her assets with its racy cut-out detail on the chest.
Her hair was sculpted in a 1920s gel-curl look that she paired with minimal makeup as she posed on the red carpet for the Oscars of science.
While Katy opted for serious poses in the majority of snaps, she also could not help but smile in others too.
Her appearance at the event notably comes just a week before she is set to travel to space with Blue Origin.

The hitmaker will be part of a history-making flight, which is set to be the first all-female trip to space since 1963.
Katy, who has notably sang about space in hits like E.T., said that she has dreamed of travelling to space for over two decades now.
She told ELLE: ‘I was investigating all of the possible commercial options. Even when Blue Origin was first talking about commercial travel to space, I was like, “Sign me up! I’m first in line.”
“And then they called me, and I was like, ‘Really? I get an invite?’ And then they told me about it being the first all-female crew.”
‘I take pause in those moments and ask the universe to give me confirmations. And I really felt very sure when they sent me the picture of the space pod, because on the front of the pod is a feather, and that’s my mom’s nickname for me.
‘And so I was like, Okay, I see it.’
Katy will be joined on the April 11 flight by journalist Gayle King, former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, filmmaker Kerianne Flynn, as well as helicopter pilot Lauren Sánchez.
The women will take off on Blue Origin’s 11th manned flight from West Texas, travelling to an altitude of 65 miles.
