
Lar Park Lincoln, the beloved actress best known for her roles in Knots Landing and Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood, has passed away at the age of 63.
Lincoln, whose real name was Laurie Jill Park, died on April 22, 2025, after a long battle with breast cancer, a diagnosis she had lived with since 2008. The news was confirmed by her company, Actors Audition Studios, in a statement posted to Facebook.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lar Park Lincoln, celebrated actress, founder of Actors Audition Studios, and America’s beloved Audition Coach,” the statement read. “Over her 45-year career, Lar left an unforgettable mark on Hollywood through her dynamic performances and dedication to mentoring aspiring actors.”
Born in Dallas, Texas, Lincoln began her acting career in the 1985 TV movie Children of the Night. She went on to build an impressive résumé, with appearances in hit shows like Heart of the City, Highway to Heaven, Murder, She Wrote, and Beverly Hills, 90210.
Her breakout television role came in the primetime soap Knots Landing, where she played the scheming Linda Fairgate across multiple seasons between 1987 and 1991, starring alongside Michele Lee and William Devane.
On the big screen, Lincoln earned a cult following as Tina Shepard, the telekinetic “scream queen” of Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988). She later reprised the role in the 2021 fan film Rose Blood: A Friday the 13th Fan Film.
In addition to her acting career, Lincoln founded Actors Audition Studios, mentoring aspiring talents and authoring the book Get Started, Not Scammed in 2008 to help actors navigate the entertainment industry safely. She was also a regular guest on QVC for nearly two decades, where she showcased her Piper Alexander Collection of clothing, beauty, and travel items.
Throughout her career, Lincoln worked with Hollywood legends like Michael Landon, Angela Lansbury, Kathleen Quinlan, Mario Van Peebles, and Christina Applegate. She was recognized with the Bronze Halo Award for her contributions to entertainment.
Lar Park Lincoln is survived by her daughter Piper, son Trevor, sister Karen, brother Michael, and four grandchildren: Aura, Benjamin, Jack, and Mia. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Lincoln, who died of cancer in 2015. She is also survived by her poodle, Charlie.
The family has requested privacy during this time and suggested that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The SAG-AFTRA Foundation or The Entertainment Community Fund.
